There are tops right at the top of this rogue forum whh will show you almost all you need to know about rogues, leveling, end game and gear. goombat. get swords. for leveling that is. oh and use your mouse to turn and move. Not your keyboard. dontlk your tion bars. use hotkeys. Arrange it in a way you like. You’ll learn them quk.
I’m sorry, I’ve got to ask if english is a sond language. Ian’tomprehend the text speak and syntax.

now now let’s not deviate into bashing Hunters whh are, like rogues, a perftly goodlass when playedorrtly.

Yes, Tenjen… They’re talking about you saying hotkeys and areonfusing the two. Whh is quite understandableonsidering I have been quiteonfused by the way the OP typed everything.
any of you guys having problems with your mros? what mros are you guys running and what are your favorites?

I’m sorry, reading just this portion of your makes me want to say, “What are you talking about? Fokking people is always fun.” Maybe it’s just who I’m fokking.are to volunteer tohange my mind? Theould quite possibly be the problem. I mean, I’m sure there’s a differee between fokking someone like… Feyras (Sorry, Feyras! I’m just trying to name off a random male rogue! ) and then someone like myself.
Despite all of your bihing, the most importanthange in 3.1 is that Dalaran portals don’t dismount you when you use them.
my god! isnt this the old animation for FOK?! why did they bring it bk?
howome i love being a rogue? its way more fun then any otherlass vie ever played… but i also had some lk 2 awesome lvl 21-23 weaps for 35g defiashest on first run and so but i was wondering… any1 good sp for lvling fast?

interesting, yes, but there”s a far more

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

The varioushanges to poison and so on is interesting, yes, but there’s a far more importanthange thatame with 3.1, and it wasn’t in pah notes. T stealth animations are bk, forertain regenderombinations. My undead female Rogue now makes the Benny Hill themesong play through my head in stealth in PvE spc, and god forbid using the Pvp spc with movement speed ireases… Ian no longer play myurrent main without feeling like puhing the monitor… Anyone else have this problem?
Undead males still move the same as we have sie the beginning of T. WTB vanilla stealth animation (à la WotLK alphabeta); moving extremely slowly was the sh*t.
Yeah, I heard you guys got bumped up to early t animations last pah. People said it had something to do with the expansion files refereing the early t animations instead of thelass animations. Strange really, that this happens. They managed to revert to vanilla animations during T, so how hardan it be to retain that now? Still, between that and the new Fan of Knives, I’m dropping the Rogue for now. I justan’t play it when the Benny Hill themesong plays in my head.
Oh yeah, I @#%^ing HATE the new FoK. Fokking people just isn’t fun anymore.
*groans at the horrible double entendre*

Ta~nana ananana ana~nanana~
The knives just sort of….drift lazily outwards. Looks too magal, and not nearly brutal enough. Haven’t had too mh time on my rogue, sie we’ve been preparing for the big Ulduar first run tonight. My pally’s holy offset needed some love.ombat seems really solid in dungeons, and MutPrep is still hitting people for amusingly high numbers in BGS. Looking foward to S6; it looks like i’ll be trying out RogueRogue in 2s whh should be fun.

WoW Insider Show Episode 79

Monday, April 13th, 2009

We had a great time as usual last weekend on the podcast — Dan O’Halloran and BigRedKitty joined me on the WoW Insider Show, and we chatted about the most popular stories in WoW from the last week. We answered your emails, including how to fill up your guild with quality raiders and what kinds of things you can do to make leveling an alt easier (including not leveling an alt at all).
And of course we talked 3.1 — a little bit of class changes, lots of information about the new dual spec system, what the equipment manager is like (and what it can do for you), Ulduar and the bosses we’ve seen so far, and finally, the Argent Tournament: what we know and what we don’t know just yet. And of course we updated folks on Turpster’s new song (almost done, but not quite mastered yet), and on our drive to get over 9000 Twitter followers. If you aren’t following us yet, head over to Twitter and hit follow so we can hit our goal and do a video podcast.
Was a fun show to make, and hopefully you’ll have just as much fun listening to it. We’ll see you next week.
Update: As promised, here’s BRK’s intro in mp3 form. No idea what you all wanted it for, but there you go.

WoW Insider Show Episode 77

Monday, April 13th, 2009

We had a great time on the WoW Insider Show this past weekend — Turpster and I welcomed back Michael Sacco (formerly known as Belfaire on the official forums and now a blogger here on WoW Insider) and manly man Matthew Rossi to talk about what’s coming up in patch 3.0.9, what we thought of the dual spec news we heard last week, and our progress (or lack thereof, apparently) on the Love is in the Air event. We also answered lots of emails from listeners, and speculated on what Blizzard’s future release schedule might look like.
And a huge thanks to all of our listeners for hitting 4,000 fans on our Facebook page — Turpster’s song is coming soon (hopefully next week), and as a mini-reward this week, by request, here’s a downloadable version of Sammy T’s great “Meat of the Show” song (just right-click save as, and if you do anything with it, be sure to let us know).
Our next goal has to do with our Twitter page — as we announced on the show, if we can get “over 9000″ Twitter followers there, we’ll do a video version of our podcast, either with ingame video or Turpster and me on camera ourselves. So tell your friends and Twitter followers to check us out over there. Enjoy the show, and we’ll see you as always next week.

Skillet and ackis recipe list
Hopeing someone here can help. I’m looking to see if there is a mod/add-on that will tell me if any components I come across are useable in recipies. Say like I come across “Chunk of Boar Meat” and I run the tool tip over it and it says “Useable in Roasted Boar Meat”. Thanks for any help on thisthis wont do exactly that, there is a mod but i dont know the name, its a tooltip mod that does just what you ask for. But i use Skillet and ackis recipe list. You can set up skillet (which is the same as Advanced trade skill window) in the options menu to show you what you can craft based on what you have in your bags and/or bank or alts. It will show a number next to the item you have the mats for. hope this helps Well I am canceling. I didnt like this Battle.net junk. Blue posts we have to do it soon anyway so i do the damn thing as does my wife and we cant even log in. The effort being put into Beta-Testing and Support for this game has gone to hellJust sharing the misery. I need my fix!

WoW Insider Show Episode 76

Monday, April 13th, 2009

We had a really fun (and longer than usual) time on the WoW Insider Show this past week — Turpster and Michael Sacco joined me to talk about all of the patch 3.1 class changes, from Druids to Death Knights, and we answered lots and lots of reader email, including what to do if your guild is too small to raid, whether to go PvP or PvE, and the lore and quests of the current endgame (or lack thereof, as the case may be).
Lots of great chat in there about classes in general — we were pretty one-topic-minded this week but we basically cover a state-of-the-game of class balance, and talk about what’s up and what’s down for each class in 3.1. And last but not least, we updated everyone on our big Facebook quest — we’ve got over 3600 fans so far, and if we hit 4000, Turpster will premiere a new song on our show. And we had the winner of our Authenticator contest send us pictures of what Turpster sent to him — find the full versions after the break below (and feel free to color/remix them as you see fit).
Was a lot of fun — hopefully you’ll enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it. We’ll see you next week.

WoW Insider Show Episode 73

Monday, April 13th, 2009

Great show on the podcast this past weekend, if I may say so myself. We started off with a kickass intro from David over at Trekcast.com, and I think it set the tone well: we had Michael Sacco (a.k.a. onetime Blizzard GM Belfaire) on the show, and he revealed some great stories about what it’s like to be on the other end of Blizzard’s ticket system. Turpster was on with his wacky self as usual (along with some excellent Warrior insight), and we all talked about the most embarassing thing we’ve done in game, and how to know when you’re ready to head off into Heroics, as well as the Death Knight changes coming up in the next patch.
If you want to send us an intro or anything else, the address is theshow AT wowinsider.com. You can listen to last weekend’s show using the links below, and if you’d like to hear us live, definitely make plans to listen in next weekend: we record the show live every Saturday at 3:30pm Eastern / 20:30 GMT. Oh, and don’t forget to become a fan of our site on Facebook — we’re almost 3/4 of the way to our goal of 4,000 fans, and if we can reach that goal, Turpster’s promised us a brand new, exclusive song. Tell your friends!
Enjoy the show and have a great week. And if you’re wondering who Martin Thunder is, here you go.

WoW Insider on How I WoW

Monday, April 13th, 2009

Patrick Beja (who was on the WoW Insider Show not too long ago) and Shawn Coons host a great occasional podcast called How I WoW, which focuses on popular folks in the WoW community (they talked to our very own Turpster a while back, and have done an episode with Felicia Day as well). And apparently they’ve already talked to everybody else in the WoW community, because this week they made the mistake of inviting me on the show. They actually ask more about me personally than you’d ever want to know, but there’s lots of great information about WoW Insider there as well, including who’s really in charge around here, what we think of you great commenters, whether or not I’m really a fanboy, and things Blizzard could do better with their game.
It’s a long show (all of the How I WoW shows tend to be long, I think, and though I tried to keep it short, mine didn’t end up being the exception), but if you’re interested in me, the WoW Insider Show, or how we run the site in general, there should be something fun for you hear in there. Plus, you can hear me murder some French if you stick around long enough.
The episode is up right now on their site. Thanks to Patrick and Shawn for having me on there — hopefully you’ll enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it. And stay tuned — we’ll have to have both of them on the WoW Insider Show with us soon.

Rolling a druid:Waste of time?
Why would it be a waste of time? You can go four different routes with the same toon – caster (moonkin), healer (tree), dps (cat), or tank (bear).  My feral druid is my third 70 and has turned into my main because I can do so many things with it.Agreed.  70 lock and hunter here.. leveled my druid to 70 and he is also now my main.”making up our own minds is the only true freedom any of us really has”

-Starship Troopers”When life gives you lemons (OP Druid) make lemonade ( tank, dps, heals, ect.)”

-lvl 70 druid
PS not a waste of time

Moron.

maybe he is having trouble making up his mind on what toon to play…
